Practical first
Fabrication has to work outside the shop.
A local welding and fabrication shop built around craftsmanship, practical problem-solving, and the belief that good work should speak for itself.
Crane Mountain Fabrication was built around welding, fabrication, and the satisfaction that comes from taking raw material, a broken component, or an idea and turning it into something useful.
Today, Crane Mountain serves a broad range of customers throughout the Flathead Valley. Heavy equipment. Construction and excavation. Agriculture. Commercial businesses. Trucks and trailers. Powersports. Custom projects that don’t fit neatly into any category.
The work changes. The approach doesn’t.
Understand the job. Build the solution. Do the work right.

Owner · Fabricator · Crane Mountain Fabrication
Connor built Crane Mountain around two things he cares about: fabrication and life in the mountains. Away from the shop, he’s an avid snowmobiler who rides and competes across the Northwest.
What began as a way to support that passion became a business built around helping other people bring their ideas to life. Every project gets the attention he brings to his own goals: understand the vision, communicate clearly, and put in the work.
Fabrication has to work outside the shop.
The finished work needs to perform where it matters.
If it’s within our capabilities, we’re interested in finding a way to solve it.
Serving the contractors, businesses, equipment operators, agricultural customers, and people who make the Flathead Valley run.
You don’t need to be a massive commercial operation to call Crane Mountain. And you don’t need to be bringing us a powersports project either.
We work with businesses and individuals who need capable fabrication, practical problem-solving, and somebody willing to take a look at the job.
If it needs welding in the Flathead Valley, there’s a good chance we can help.

Broken equipment. Custom build. Commercial project. Trailer repair. Strange idea. Bring us the problem.
